To ensure maximum machine up time, to maximise production output and to minimise product changeover time, it is critical that your IMA Swiftpack packaging equipment is maintained in optimum condition.
IMA Swiftpack service technicians are factory trained to install, commission, debug, operate, repair and fine tune packaging machinery. We offer training, preventative maintenance and service contracts. Our service technicians will also set up new change parts, advise on changeovers and which consumables and spare parts should be held.
The scope of works carried out during installation of new equipment will typically include:
- Mechanical assembly and integration, installation and connection of the Packaging Line and all associated equipment supplied by IMA Swiftpack.
- Electrical connection of all machines supplied by IMA Swiftpack that make up the Packaging Line. Mains electrical connection.
- Electrical connection of all line control functions and operator controls.
- Electrical Power-up and diagnostic check
- Wiring check and verification.
- Commissioning and synchronisation of all equipment on the Packaging Line.
- Testing of the line with a range of products.
